The hour is usually dedicated to Drawabox exercises. The kemono girl drawings happen on occasion and I'm usually way more pumped for those and can go for 4+ hours without breaking a sweat.

I've invested enough time into it that it'd feel like a waste to just suddenly quit. 

The reason I started anyways was because someone told me that I sucked and to practice my fundies. There's only so much you can do by drawing solely for fun.

Dont waste over 50% of your time doing studies. I am saying this as someone who has 10 years of experience and has focused a lot of studies. If you solely hyperfixate on drawing boxes you're going to turn your drawing experience into a miserable recipe that will kill all the fun you once had. This happened to me and id argue that until today drawing has become an ocd nightmare.

At the very least, focus 50% or soo of your time on drawing anthro bitches and having fun, anon is right about it

Pic related, how shit was like at the peak of my drawabox obsession, stuff died really early because it became miserable to micromanage all the tiny details

I agree the best teacher is actually just doing it instead of learning teqniques and watching tutorials and shit. Draw whatever the fuck you want just make sure you have goals for it be anatomy, shading, or perspective and reflect on your drawing once done so next time you can do it better.

Fundies themselves can be actually fun as shit to learn, but the very specific and puritanical way people online expect you to have learnt them, plus just grinding them only and nothing else is what ruins it for many others.

People learn things through different means and time. Just as long as you have goals set for yourself to how far you want to improve, then you'll get there.
