My daily driver is a Linux box.  I do quick sloppy sketches in an MS Paint almost-clone called Kolourpaint, usually at 640x480.  I use the selection size tools, skew tools, and so on, to adjust the layout.  Then I copy and paste them into Krita, where I trace over them using a pixel art brush and a brush stabilizer.  I copy and paste that to another Kolourpaint instance, where I color with the bucket tool, and so on.

Some effurts turn out better than others.

I think the best inspiration is seeing others similar to your ranks trying their best. Not just in art, but in general. Gives a feeling of hope and love towards your craft and what about it that makes you as a person unique.

I'm doing well, thank you. Tired from drawing these today and I'm set fur bed lol. But honestly I wouldn't have wanted to spend my evening any other way.
I made a bunch of people happy tonight- including myself, so that's a big bonus. Glory be to God, and have a good night :]

Fur the record what I got fur Christmas was a kindle scribe not a draw tablet. I was gonna try and do funky shit between my pc and the kindle but I figured I should lean into the scribe instead.

Another practice piece of a generic character not really doing much, except female this time. This is a simpler, faster style though it still took about 24 hours to make (I started about 24 hours ago, that is). I finally figured out why my brushes all looked so pixelated. The next thing I should practice is probably the face since everything I've done so far is pretty neutral in terms of facial expressions.
I'm not really sure what the difference between this thread & the art thread is tbh. I guess the idea is to pump something out daily fur this thread, right?

That's cool. Reminds me of illustrated chapter book art from elementary school. Can't quite put my finger on anything specific but it feels like you'd find this in one of those books.

Yeah, I struggled with the tits. I know they look kind of funny. I originally wanted to draw them small (close to flat) but I think I stumbled upon the same realization Cassandranon did: bigger tits are easier to draw than smaller ones. I think it's the less obvious reason many porn artists do it. They obscure otherwise bad anatomy.

looks good, I usually use a light stabilizer fur digital lineart, but traditional media does not have the abstractions that digital have; most of the time nowadays I make my lineart on paper and then make the rest on digital, saves a lot of time. But I understand that on digital you can achieve some effects and styles more dynamically this way
