Dunno how true it is, especially when the one example they always lead with is Van Gogh and then struggle to name any others. But, thrift stores are full of old oil paintings selling for peanuts, right? Maybe they could've cooperated with someone hosting a booth at a convention or something. Or step up the online shilling. Some of the successful campaigns later had owners sharing their acquisitions, may as well retweet some.

Definitely one of the better ones, among the sea of chibi human vtubers or whoever those are. Could it be the hair that is the deal breaker here? In the artworks her ears blend into the hair seamlessly; on the plushie they are made of different materials with different colors, also leading the the back of the head lacking details.
