Well the Frankfurt school probably was overall bad, but blaming it for singlehandedly destroying Western civilisation is ridiculous. Blaming Marxism for that would make more sense than blaming a group of philosophers whom were already inculcated in a Marxist culture and academia before they ever started the works which they're known for. Alex Reynolds has some writing and discussions about the Frankfurt school and the modern narrative surrounding it, but I don't know how much of it has survived.
